Jim Murphy has written a wonderful and well-researched non-fiction book providing the background information about World War I and aabout the events that took place during the Christmas season, December 1941.   The book contains many source notes and resources related to the truce and World War I.  The following are updated and complete citations for the websites that Murphy includes in the appendix of his book.
